Since forming in 2011, The Cover Girls have become one of Australia’s most sought after acts for corporate entertainment, luxury events, and international cruise lines.

Their credits include performances for the Cancer Council’s prestigious Tuxedo Junction Ball, Ronald McDonald House Charities Ball, Eureka Skydeck, exclusive Yarra Valley wineries, and Sydney Harbour’s most celebrated cruises. At sea, they’ve charmed global audiences aboard Celebrity Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises, and P&O Australia.

    / Meet The Founders
    Co-Founder, Director and Performer
    Born and raised in New Zealand, Krista began singing at the age of five, performing on the competitive country music circuit and earning recognition through awards such as the Gore Golden Guitar Awards and Tamworth’s Aristocrat Entertainer of the Year.

    After completing her degree at NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art), Krista went on to perform in professional productions including Oliver! and worked in television with The Erin Simpson Show before making the move to Australia in 2008.

    In 2011, Krista founded The Cover Girls, combining her lifelong passion for performance with a commitment to delivering elite, high-energy entertainment. Under her direction, The Cover Girls have become a leading name in the Melbourne corporate scene and a sought-after act on international cruise lines, known for their impeccable harmonies, vintage glamour, and unforgettable stage presence.

    Co-Founder
    Kay’s love for singing, dancing, and acting began at an early age and has taken her to stages around the world ever since. After earning a Bachelor of Performing Arts from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art, she launched a dynamic international career spanning theatre, live performance, and cruise entertainment.

    As a lead vocalist with P&O and Princess Cruises, Kay has captivated audiences across the globe in a variety of acclaimed on-board productions. Her journey then took her to Spain, where she starred in the hit musicals Mamma Mia! and We Will Rock You.

    After a year in New Zealand performing with the internationally renowned vocal group The Beat Girls, Kay made Melbourne her home - continuing to pursue her passion for theatre and live entertainment. Alongside her stage career, her work in musical theatre has also led her to collaborate with Disney Theatrical Productions, where she continues to share her expertise behind the scenes.

    Kay is the proud co-founder of The Cover Girls and is thrilled to bring her fresh energy, artistry, and experience to Australia’s vibrant entertainment scene.
